What my Mother means to me - Birthday February 3, 2004

What my Mother means to me
it's easy for anyone to see.

She's like summer days and joy and fun,
She's warm and wise and bright as the sun.

She's playful and happy and witty and smart,
She's gifted and creative with a flair for art.

What my mother means to me
is easy for anyone to see.

She's my strength and inspiration, she gives me friendship and love.
She's the gift in my life sent from God up above.

Love always and happiest of all birthdays.

I love my Mommy very much - Birthday Written February 3, 2003

I love my Mommy very much,
'Cause she puts love in every touch.

She always knows just what to say
To make me happy every day.

That's why each day of every year
I want to say she's very dear.

So, now on her birthday it makes me proud
To say "I love you"...right out loud!

Happy Birthday with love!

On my 55th Parents Anniversary

Their love for each other, for their family, in their life,
What a beautiful tribute to a Husband and Wife.

As Bride and Groom, as Father and Mother,
Destined from childhood to be with each other.

This is the substance for loving and marrying,
This is the strength for caring and sharing,

Fifty-five anniversaries filled with adoring,
Fifty-seven years with happiness soaring.

These are the elements of wonderment and love,
These are the gifts that come from above.

~ Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad ~

The 48th Mother's Day

Have I ever told you how much I love you,
It was from life's very start.

That you always are within me,
deep inside my heart.

Whenever I was sick or scared,
I always knew you cared.

A loving hug, your sweet perfume,
bring happy memories and a cheerful tune.

Mommy and daughter while I was
growing and learning.

Now women and friends,
sharing life 'til the end.

I loved you then, now, and always.

Nothing to fear...

What would you do if you had nothing to fear,
Would you dare to express all the thoughts you hold dear,
Or try to do something after waiting for years.

What would you do without the promise of tomorrow,
Would you let yourself smile and live without sorrow,
Or love without measure, give and not borrow.

Take the life your parents gave you,
Live boldly with purpose and be loving too,
Replacing fear with living to grow and renew.

Nobody knows...

Endless emotion without a notion,
Feelings abound grow and confound,
Nobody knows because nothing shows.

Dare not to see what the outcome will be,
Drifting in time surreal and sublime,
Nobody knows because nothing shows.

Love and devotion thick like a potion,
Joy mixed with sorrow held for tomorrow,
Nobody knows because nothing shows.

The future is there, one sided and bare,
No love to return, no one must dare,
Nobody knows because nothing shows.

Innocent and shy, high as the sky,
A breeze blows by, a look from your eye,
Nobody knows because nothing shows.

Love blooms as a tear with a deeply held fear,
Smoke and spirits in the air, destined never to be a pair,
Nobody knows because nothing shows.

Sail the seas with waves that bend, fearing the fantasy has to end,
Never to know the light of day, nothing real in a tangible way.
Nobody knows because nothing shows.
